Abstract
The present paper integrated in literary historic describes the main themes of naturalism that can be associated to representation in Zambeziana-Cenas da Vida Colonial, of Emílio de San Bruno. The romance was published in 1927 and reedited in 1999 by Mozambique Historic Archive. The romance can be situated in the exotic stage of colonial literature in Mozambique, traduced in all segments descriptives, the excitation of European spirit during the discover of Africa. Is important to refer that the Portuguese colonial literature ruled particularly by representation of African symbology and ideology started in century XX, knowing her assignable vitality with the adventure of New Estate, in 1926. Working in narratology as theoretical area, from this colonial text was demonstrated that not only should seen the exotism as factor to the colonial literature, but also was possible to discover other literary tendencies associated to the her, as is the case of the naturalism. It was ended that the sexuality just as was conceived by the naturalism is the principal element of N’fuca representation.

Lucério Sarmento Gundane, Faculty of Sciences of Language, Communication and Arts
Master in Linguistics from the Faculty of Sciences of Language, Communication and Arts of the Pedagogical University; Degree in Linguistics and Literature by Eduardo Mondlane University in 2011. Author of the books: “Lexical Morphology and Phonology in Citshwa: an Analysis and Description of the TAMP Categories in Bantu”; “Didactics of Bantu Languages”. He has several scientific articles published in some Mozambican journals. Professor of Theoretical and Descriptive Linguistics at UP-Maxixe since 2013, where he also serves as Head of the Culture Department, Coordinator of the Section of Linguistics and Minor in Teaching of Citshwa. His areas of interest include colonial literature; linguistic policy and planning; linguistic revision; phonetics, phonology, morphology and syntax of Portuguese and Bantu languages; policies on bilingual education in multilingual contexts. All communications, publications and research presented within the country are integrated in the area of Literature, Descriptive and Applied Linguistics, focusing on policies on teaching the Portuguese language as L2 in Mozambique.
